The story of Limited Medicine

Hi, I’m Mitali — a Goa-based artist, a dreamer, a maker, and a proud single mom.

Limited Medicine is my little corner of the world where all the things I love get to come together. It was born from a deep need to create — to turn the ideas, images, stories, and curiosities that live in my head into something tangible, and then send those creations out into the world for someone else to connect with.

I make things that I myself would want to wear, surround myself with, or treasure. My work moves between handmade wire-wrapped crystal jewellery, vibrant and quirky festival clothing, accessories, and decor. My inspiration is wonderfully difficult to pin down — it wanders through mythology and ancient history, surrealism and cyberpunk, psychedelia, strange little details, and whatever else happens to spark my imagination.

I think of each piece as a tiny world of its own. Something made slowly, intuitively, and with a lot of love. I’m not particularly interested in making things that look exactly like everything else — I’d much rather follow an idea down a weird little rabbit hole and see where it takes me.

That’s where the name Limited Medicine comes from. To me, there’s something powerful about the singular — the idea that not everything needs to be mass-produced, replicated, or made for everyone. Each piece I create is made to be unique, and sometimes completely one-of-a-kind.
